My bro, parents, grandparents, and myself owns a Miele washing machine. In fact, our first Miele was the W3033 from decades ago, lasted a good ten years solid 'til it gave up.
I got my own place last year and bit the bullet to buy a WDA110. It's still Miele quality and all, but a few things rub me the wrong way compared to the old one.
Yeah, the suspension doesn't feel as rock solid, and the out-of-balance detection is nowhere near as sharp. Had a scare where it tried to spin a towel load all wonky and the drum scratched the heck out of the glass door.
The doors aren't metal anymore, it's like the company is cutting corners
So many features are missing. Is it just me, or has Miele been cheapened off? Does anyone feel the same way?
