Looking into a budget friendly washer for a small apartment setup and trying to keep things simple, just reliable and easy to maintain, a friend suggested something like a Beko or an Indesit but I've seen mixed reviews on both, especially around longevity and parts availability, what do you guys here think, or you could even suggest other brands you think will be better than beko or indesit, I'd like to get one this coming July
Thanks a lot in advance

Your friend might be thinking of the European market, where Beko and Indesit are thick on the ground. Over here, getting parts for an Indesit could be a real wild goose chase, and Beko can be hit or miss for support, depending on where you are.

If you're looking for a simple, budget-friendly machine, you might consider a basic top-loader from Amana. Whirlpool builds them with no-frills hardware, so they're pretty straightforward. Are you looking for a top-load or front-load machine for your apartment?

Yeah, I think Beko and Indesit can be a hit or miss. I would recommend LG and GE compact model. I think they're good for apartment use, given their reliability and range of features!

My sister was on the hunt for a washer for her small apartment and checked out Beko and Indesit, too. In the end, she chose a compact LG model, and it's been super reliable and easy to take care of for over two years now. If you're looking for something budget-friendly and trustworthy, LG and GE are definitely great options.

Ive owned an Amana, and it stayed for quite some time. Bottomline reliable and budget friendly like you require

Beko is a decent brand, but avoid it if you don't have a local service for it, just in case. A few people mentioned Amana which is a solid choice and I'll also mention Insignia. Keep in mind, the cheaper ones are usually not as long lasting, but there can be some exceptions. Also, don't expect all the fancy features and tech.
